The Project
TOMY’s marketing team approached us to produce a promotional video for the launch of their new family interactive game, Human Controller. The shoot took place in Smyths Toy Superstores in Brent Cross and required a full production setup with two videographers and multiple well-known comedians, including Ellie Taylor.
Content Creation
Our brief was to create an engaging and family friendly advertising video that showcased the mechanics, activities and overall fun of the Human Controller game. We filmed a variety of interactive moments where the comedians played the game together, capturing natural reactions and the playful energy of the product.
This included demonstrations of the controller functions, in-store interactions and dynamic shots that highlighted how the game works in a real environment.Alongside the hero video, we also produced a series of shorter reels optimised for social media to support TOMY’s wider marketing campaign.
Execution and Delivery
The entire shoot, edit and delivery process was completed within a week. This ensured TOMY had fast access to polished content for use across their social platforms, the Smyths Toys website and Ellie Taylor’s online channels. The final video set reflected the fun, accessible and family driven nature of the Human Controller product.
Conclusion
Working with TOMY on this project allowed us to bring a unique and energetic product to life in an authentic retail setting. If you want to promote your product with high quality video content that resonates with your audience, get in touch with Capture House today.
